I spent 20+ years working for Travis County Sheriff’s Office and left as a Sergeant in 2022 after my husband’s job relocated our family to the Houston area. I am currently a Sergeant/Investigator with the Office of Inspector General. During my transition from Austin to Houston, I decided to take on real estate. I started with a large brokerage in 2022 and quickly realized that I missed serving others in a meaningful way. I didn’t feel good about giving 30% back to my broker, when I could be helping my clients with their first mortgage payment, building a fence or paying for appliances in their new home.
